Will this replace my front desk?
No — it absorbs the repetitive questions (insurance verification, what happens at a first visit, do I need a referral) so your front desk can focus on patient care and high-value bookings. Most clinics see ~30-40% reduction in repetitive calls within the first month.
Can the bot diagnose conditions or recommend specific treatments?
No — that's outside scope by design. It answers about your services ("do you treat sciatica?" / "do you do decompression therapy?") and captures the patient's contact info + concern, then redirects clinical questions to your team. Chiropractor licensure protections apply.
What about emergency cases — loss of feeling, severe pain, can't move?
The bot recognizes neurological red flags (loss of sensation in limbs, can't move arms or legs, severe head/neck trauma, sudden severe headache, loss of bladder or bowel control) and immediately advises 911 or ER — not your office. These are out-of-scope for chiropractic care and need urgent medical evaluation.
Does it work for combined chiropractic + physical therapy practices?
Yes — chiropractic and PT often share visitors and the bot handles both. Configure your services list with what you actually offer (adjustments, decompression, manual therapy, exercise rehab, etc.) and the bot answers from that. We use "chiro" as a label internally; PT-focused practices fit the same vertical.
What if my patients prefer to call?
The bot gives them your number in the first sentence — no lead-capture preamble. Patients in pain are time-sensitive; the bot's job is to remove friction, not insert it. Lead capture is offered AFTER giving the phone, never before.
How does it handle insurance questions?
Configure the insurance plans you accept in Settings → Chatbot → Insurance. The bot answers "do you accept Aetna?" directly with yes/no. For plans not in your list, it captures the patient's info and offers a callback — never says "we don't accept that" without your team verifying first.
