Will the bot diagnose my car remotely?

No. It captures the symptoms ("check engine light on" / "grinding noise on brakes" / "won't start") and books a diagnostic appointment. Diagnosing remotely without seeing the car is a liability landmine; we deliberately don't.

What about active dangerous situations — brakes failed, smoke, can't stop?

The bot's first line is "PULL OVER SAFELY IMMEDIATELY" + "call 911 if in immediate danger" + your office phone for a tow arrangement. For these cases the bot does NOT try to schedule normally — it gets the customer safe first.

Can it quote prices for repairs?

For services in your Pricing Table (oil changes, tire rotation, state inspection, etc.) it answers directly. For diagnostics + repairs that depend on the car's actual condition, it says "pricing depends on what we find — happy to schedule a free diagnostic" and captures the appointment request. Never makes up prices.

Does it know which car brands I work on?

Configure your specialties in Settings → Chatbot → Services. "Do you work on BMWs?" → bot answers from your config. If you don't work on a specific brand, the bot politely says so and refers them — saves your service writers from calling unqualified prospects back.

What about state inspections or emissions tests?

Configure those as services if you're certified. The bot answers "do you do state inspections?" with yes/no + scheduling info. For brand-specific or state-specific certifications (e.g. CT VIP-1, MA inspection), it can answer if you've configured it.

Does it integrate with my shop management software?

Indirectly via webhooks (Pro plan). Lead webhook fires on every new appointment request → point at Zapier/Make → connects to most shop-management tools (Mitchell1, ShopController, Tekmetric, etc.). Direct integrations are on the roadmap.
